The Running of the Bulls
Today at 8:00 AM local time, the running of the bulls took place in Pamplona, Spain. The running of the bulls is the highest profile event of the San Fermin festival, which is held July 6-14 every year. Eight runnings take place over the course of the eight-day festival. Runners start each bull run, or encierro, singing a benediction at the statue of the event’s patron saint San Fermin, shouting together ¡Viva San Fermín! Gora San Fermin! ("Long live San Fermin" in Spanish and Basque). A rocket then signals that all six bulls have been released and the 826 meter sprint begins.
Runners must be over 18 years old and traditionally carry that day’s rolled-up newspaper in hand to draw the bulls’ attention. Every year, between 200 and 300 people are injured and 15 people have been killed since record-keeping began. While many people turn out for the running of the bulls, the tradition is not without controversy, as many animal rights activists oppose and actively protest the event.

Top Paying CPM Advertising Network

Top Paying CPM Advertising Network

In 2013 you need to try a few more channels to earn more money from your blog. There are lots of ways to earn money from a blog and you can monetize blog in different ways. For some blogs PPC Ads work great, for some affiliate ads work and for some CPM Ads work.
I think you have tried both PPC and Aff
If you pay attention to the types of traffic you are getting in your website or blog, you should be able to tell if most of them are organic traffics from search engines, or direct referrals. Organics traffics from search engines convert good to CPC, but visitors who visit your site on regular basis (the direct ones) will hardly clicks on these CPC ads. To convert this type of traffics to revenue, using CPM ads are one good solution.
CPM (Cost Per thousand Impressions), generally on publishers’ point of views are how much one can earn when an ad gets 1000 impressions on the website. Some ad networks pay $3/CPM, some $4, but the average is about that. If you have 700 regular unique visitors generates about 1000 impressions a day on your site, these people are not likely to click on CPC ads, so I’d say CPM ads are probably a better way out. Here’s few of the top paying CPM ad networks that I’ve come to know, used or heard before. If you have more, I’d be happy to add them in. Full list after jump

Chitika - the best alternative for adsense

'Chitika
Chitika is an online ad network that caters over four billion strategically targeted ads each month to a network of over 300,000+ sites, making it the second largest network of its kind. Chitika ads are known across the industry for their ability to perform unlike any other, leveraging its proprietary targeting and optimizationtechnology - a delicate blend of “Art + Science”- to ensure delivery of intent driven ads to the right user, at the right time and in the right place. Chitika’s advertising partners include; Yahoo!, SuperMedia, hibu and HomeAdvisor, among others, and are leveraged by publishers in the network to drive audience engagement andboost revenue.

History

In 2003, co-founders Venkat Kolluri and Alden DoRosario started Chitika after leaving their jobs at Lycos. Since launching it's online advertising service in 2004, Chitika has added a Mobile advertising Division as well as a Real-Time Bidding Division.

Partnerships

In 2013, Chitika announced a multi-year extension of its partnership with Yahoo!. The agreement includes off–network search syndication, monetization of Yahoo! owned and operated properties, and mobile ad serving and monetization.
In 2010 Yahoo! closed their AdSense competitor Yahoo Publisher Network Online (YPNO) and recommended publishers migrate to Chitika as a replacement.
In 2009 Chitika began a partnership with the b5media Network.

Controversies

In December 2005, some publishers reported a reduction in revenue after auditing between 25%-90%.

In June 2008, Chitika reportedly changed its revenue payout without notifying publishers or responding to their complaints.
In 2010, Chitika removed their ads from thousands of websites. The company stated that the sites they had been doing business with were all suddenly placed under "Pending Review" or "Pending Further Review" status. This meant the company would no longer show ads on the sites. Many dropped the advertising service.[13]
On March 16, 2011, the Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") appeared before the United States Senate Commerce Committee and announced its first behavioral advertising case, filed against Chitika for use of a deceptive opt-out mechanism. According to the FTC, Chitika's cookies that opt users out of behavioral tracking were expiring in ten days rather than the stated ten years. A settlement was reached under which Chitika was forbidden from making misleading statements about the extent of data collection about consumers and the extent to which consumers can control the use of their data. Further, the settlement required that Chitika link all its advertising to an effective opt-out mechanism in future. It has been commented that, “[t]his requirement of a hyperlink embedded in online advertisements is a good indicator of the type of Do Not Track mechanism that will be acceptable to the FTC if “Do Not Track” becomes mandatory.” According to a press release by the company, their opt-out cookies have been set to ten years since March 2010 when the FTC began their investigation.Chitika subsequently claimed to have made only a total of fifty-five cents from the ten day opt-out expiration.

The best PC games of 2013

The best PC games of 2013
Watch Dogs

Publisher: Ubisoft

Release: Late 2013
Link
Though in recent years, Ubisoft has been happy to milk the Assassin’s Creed licence until its ruddy teats squeaked, let us not forget that the space-wizards-thru-history mega-franchise was born of huge creative risk: a new IP that cost so much develop that, rumour has it, sales didn’t cover the cost of development until its sequels were on shelves. Now, the same gigantic studio, Ubisoft Montreal, has unveiled Watch Dogs – a game with no smaller a scope than Assassin’s Creed, combining the complex sedition of information warfare with brutish third-person action and, it is suspected, with some sort of clever multiplayer/singleplayer crossover. It’s not only a showcase for the kind of polygon-crunching power the cutting edge PC can generate (finally loosed from the shackles of last-gen cross platform releases) but it also establishes a fiction that Ubisoft hopes will see it through the next decade.
star wars 1313

dead space
Publisher: EA
Release: February 8
Link
The sudden appearance of a co-op mode in this venerable space-horror franchise may sound like the marketing department got a little trigger happy with the back-of-box checklist, but there are reasons to be optimistic. Firstly, didn’t we all the say the same gloomy things about Mass Effect 3’s excellent multiplayer? Secondly, Dead Space already showed it could deliver terror to a twosome in its (actually terrific, sadly undersold) Wii light-gun game. What’s more, the game’s roots have hardly been forgotten: it’s still perfectly possible to play the game on your tod. This one promises to add themes of insanity and perception to the traditional jump-scares and body-horror.
